On why she chose to work at Ramboll…
I specifically chose to work at Ramboll over other consultancies because of the strong values, culture and empowerment that I experienced during university placements, and am pleased to say that is why I have continued to work here throughout my career. Almost 10 years on, Ramboll continues to be a purpose-driven company, we have an ambitious strategy and a fantastic Managing Director who lives our values and reinforces our culture, and really leads from the front. And that is very much what drives and inspires me on my journey at Ramboll.
On a varied and engaging career so far…
Ramboll has so far offered me a varied and engaging career which I thoroughly enjoy and find rewarding. I have consistently been provided with interesting and challenging projects that have driven my learning and developed my skills. I have been empowered to take on responsibilities since starting as a graduate, gaining exposure to clients and stakeholders early on as well as leading projects and interfaces with other design disciplines. This has built my confidence and helped me become a well-rounded engineer, as well as being particularly beneficial in achieving my professional chartership with the ICE.
On pursuing other interests aligned to her values…
Aside from my role as an engineer, I am encouraged to pursue opportunities within the wider business, to broaden my skills and experience in areas that are aligned with my interests and values. Recent examples include co-founding our Racial Equality network, supporting employee engagement with the Ramboll Foundation, and improving training and development for employees within Transport. Being supported to follow my interests and passions in this way has accelerated my growth and makes me feel valued.

I feel really proud about being part of a company with such a strong legacy and purpose, and l think this and being Foundation owned makes Ramboll such a unique place to work. The Ramboll Foundation serves to ensure the long-term development of Ramboll and to maintain the purpose-driven approach of the company: to create a positive impact on people and society. The Foundation enables our profits to be reinvested into the company's development, and allows us to support charitable projects, meaningful R&D initiatives, as well as our employees in need.

The people at Ramboll are second to none. They are approachable, supportive and talented individuals who help to nurture your growth. The open and inclusive culture here encourages diversity and allows you to be yourself at work. This fosters a fun and engaging working environment, and is one of the key reasons why I continue to enjoy working at Ramboll after nine years!
On her future with Ramboll…
As I continue my career I am keen to explore different areas of the business and Ramboll is more than willing to support this. There are a diverse range of opportunities across the company, in the UK and internationally, as well as new avenues stemming from our sustainability strategy. I am excited to find the next stepping-stone in my career, and with Ramboll’s support, carve out a path that aligns with my passions and values.
