Resilient LBI is a shared regional vision for climate resilience and adaptation. The Resilient LBI Action Plan was completed in 2022 to provide a roadmap of actions for regional resilience, managed by NJDEP through the Resilient NJ Program. During the current phase of work, NJ DEP, the consultant team, and local municipalities have been working to further advance project actions to help address flood risks due to sea level rise.
This virtual public information session is the first public meeting during the current phase of work. The Resilient LBI Action Plan was the result of robust community input from across the Long Beach Island community. The goal of this meeting is to provide an overview of the Resilient LBI Action Plan and update the community on recent work to advance project actions closer to implementation.
The meeting will include a presentation about ongoing planning efforts and will also provide an opportunity for questions from members of the community.
