The series is designed specifically for African companies and will take place across four days, with each day investigating a new module of the training. Fund managers or financial institutions are welcome to join, but the content will not necessarily be applicable. Chukwudi Iwuozor is an Executive in BII's Industry Technology Services (ITS) Responsible Investing team. He has over 14 years' experience in E&S risk management and leads the implementation of responsible investing principles across BII's investments in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. He also provides Investment Committees with crucial Environmental and Social (E&S) insights to influence investment decisions, manage risk and maximise development impact outcomes. 

Andrew Snow

Andrew is a Chartered Environmentalist with over 20 years of ESHS consultancy experience in E&S due diligence, monitoring, management systems, and compliance auditing. He has significant experience in working with recognised international management system and financing standards and guidance, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, Equator Principles, IFC Performance Standards and WB/IFC EHS Guidelines.

Shirley Payet-Jacob is a Manager in BII's Industry Technology Services (ITS) Responsible Investing team. She has a master’s degree in Corporate Governance.  She has extensive experience shaping BII and EDFI approach to Corporate Governance and helping BII's investees across emerging markets to enhance their approach on corporate governance and board effectiveness. She has led the preparation and delivery of corporate governance and board trainings on various matters including but not limited to demonstrating the intersection between corporate governance, E&S and business integrity risk management.   

Guy Alexander

Guy Alexander is a Director and Head of BII's Industry Technology Services (ITS) Responsible Investing team of 18 professionals.  He leads strategy and implementation of responsible investing principles across BII's ITS sector investments across Africa, Asia and Caribbean markets.  He also oversees the strategic deployment of BII market shaping technical assistance program focused on ESG, business integrity, corporate governance and climate capacity building.
