Currently, there are no tools available to help traffic safety experts to work objectively and efficiently. Decisions are made reactively, not proactively, causing unnecessary and costly accidents. Accident data doesn’t tell all. Collecting and interpreting the needed data is time consuming expert intensive work.
In SafetyWize we combine visual layers from various factors impacting traffic safety such as harsh braking incident hot spots (Sensor Data) and comparison between actual vehicle speed and speed limits (GPS Data) with a traffic accident risk evaluation based on SafetyWize methodology.
SafetyWize methodology uses machine learning to predict and give insights in accident likelihood, bringing safer road environments by showing and explaining dangerous locations based on real-world data and expert knowledge.
