Complex Buildings

At Ramboll, our High Rise and Complex Building experts have successfully engineered over 300 skyscrapers and 7,000 iconic projects worldwide. We lead with a commitment to sustainability, integrating advanced analytics and deep technical expertise to design buildings that maximise value and address our clients' most pressing challenges.
Our approach prioritises quality of life, placing people at the core of our designs. By creating spaces that enhance living, working, and leisure experiences, we ensure every building serves its purpose while being environmentally responsible.
We collaborate closely with clients and architects from the outset, aligning project goals with sustainable design principles. Our extensive knowledge of materials and construction techniques allows us to bring complex, visionary structures to life—structures that are as sustainable as they are striking.

Navigating Building Transformation
In the real estate sector, a new priority is emerging: re-imagining existing structures. This paradigm shift recognises that revitalising buildings is not just a trend, but a crucial step towards a future that is less carbon- and resource intensive. As awareness grows, it is becoming clear that the path of transformation has considerable benefits.

CO2mpare
Earlier this year, Ramboll CO2mpare was launched at the Buildings and Climate Global Forum in Paris.
As the first open access database of its kind with more than 130 building projects across 6 countries, it enables industry actors to explore carbon footprints of buildings within 10 typologies and benchmark against their own projects.

Creating the
Regenerative City
Imagine cities that not only minimize environmental impact but actively improve it. This is what Singapore’s Centre for Liveable Cities (CLC) and Ramboll, set out to explore, along with a number of government ministries and urban stakeholders. The outcome can be found in a newly launched report titled "Creating a Regenerative City: Insights from the CLC-Ramboll Urban Lab".This report explores the potential of regenerative design principles for building climate-positive cities. It delves into key themes like biodiversity, transitioning to a low-carbon future, and ensuring long-term urban resilience.
